Audio problem

Hello Everybody,
After solving some trouble with my video card, the game is running just fine and I really enjoy it to get back the feelings of Sensible Soccer from the early 90's!
The only problem is there is no audio. When I run the game I get:
$ ./yoda_soccer
linuxaudio failed
My audio card is installed correctly, because I have audio in linux as well in other games. I'm running Ubuntu 6.06. I hope I have posted this in the right forum and somebody can help me!
